Para mi gusto, uno de los mejores grupos (si no el mejor) de thrash metal es Slayer.
Banda afincada en Estados Unidos, formada en 1982 (en pleno apogeo del thrash) por los guitarristas Kerry King y el melenas rubio Jeff Hanneman, incorporándose más tarde el bajista y vocalista Tom Araya, de origen chileno, y como batería el cubano Dave Lombardo.
